History
The Campino restaurant opened as a clubhouse in 2000, along with the Golf de Andratx golf course. As one of the most beautiful golf courses in Mallorca, Golf de Andratx has hosted many major golf tournaments, such as the PGA National Challenge Cup, Mallorca Magazine, etc.
Founded by passionate restaurateur Giuseppe ‘Pino’ Persico and managed by his nephew Luigi Capalbo since 2015, Campino stands for consistent quality and authenticity in Italian cuisine, warm service and continuous development.
What ‘Campino’ stands for: Translated from Italian, Campino means ‘small field’ (also golf course), thus creating a connection to its Italian origins, and the location ‘Camp de Mar’ is also reflected in the name.
Over the last decade, it has become not only a place to play golf, but also a place to feel at home. Italian hospitality in particular attracts many guests to the south-west of Mallorca year after year.
